Dipabhavan Meditation Retreat on Koh Samui
At Dipabhāvan meditation center one can certainly experience the joy of a peaceful and tranquil mind. In short – Dipabhāvan provides everything necessary to facilitate meditation training. Firstly they have beautiful and secluded environments and suitable accommodation. Moreover they offer nutritious, vegetarian food. Dipabhāvan is located on the hillside slope of the high mountain in the southeast of Koh Samui. When you look around from there, you can see beautiful sea views, coconut trees and high mountains covered by green forest. All of those are the conditions obviously supporting the meditator. Hence he can progress in meditation.

Wat Suan Mokh in Surat Thani
Their 10-day silent meditation retreats start at the 1st of each month. Registration has to be in person on the last day of the previous month. Advance bookings are therefore not possible. The retreats end on the 11th day of the month. Furthermore, there are no shorter or longer retreats available and it is not possible to join only part of a retreat or to start a retreat or other organized activities at other times of the month. However, everyone is welcome to visit the main monastery at Suan Mokkh between retreats to do their own practice.

Wat Ram Poeng offers a 26-day basic course in Vipassana (Insight) Meditation under the guidance of a Teacher on an on-going basis. Meditators who have completed the basic course, can furthermore do a 10-day Insight Meditation retreat and build on the 26-day basic course. Moreover for those who do not have time to join the full basic course, the Monastery offers the chance to try out the practice. This is possible for less than 10 days or more than 6 weeks, without special permission.

Wat Pah Nanachat in Ubon Ratchathani
Wat Pah Nanachat is a Buddhist monastery in Northeast Thailand, in the Theravada Forest Tradition. It was established in 1975 by Ven. Ajahn Chah (1918-1992) as a branch monastery close to his own traditional forest monastery Wat Nong Pah Pong in Ubon Rachathani province, with Ven. Ajahn Sumedho, an American disciple of his, as the first abbot. The monastery aims at providing English-speaking people the opportunity to train and practise the simple and peaceful lifestyle that the Buddha taught his monks in the forests over 2500 years ago.
