This helps avoid unpleasant surprises and difficulties while you make a reservation for our upcoming events or order items in our online shop. We would like to encourage you to read this policy so you can be more confident about your purchase and know that we care.

1 Payments
For all event registrations, our privacy policy governs how we handle and protect your personal data.
Paid Events: For paid events, payments are processed securely through our main payment gateway, Stripe, or via Opn Payments. On-site registrations are also available and payable at the event location. We accept a variety of payment methods, including online banking, local Thai payment gateways, PayPal, Wise, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard), and cash.
Unpaid Events: For free or donation-based events, no charges apply. However, registration is still required to help us organize the event effectively, verify attendance, and maintain communication with participants.
Whether paid or unpaid, your registration ensures that we can provide a seamless and well-organized experience for all participants.
2 Refund Eligibility
We offer Meditation Sessions, Workshops, Retreats, Special one-off events, as well as Online Events. For all of these, we strive to provide clear and fair refund policies to ensure that you are well-informed. Our refund eligibility is based on the event type, location, and whether the event has already been confirmed. Please see the detailed breakdown of our refund terms below:
Full Refund: If you cancel at least 14 days before the event, you will receive a full refund.
Partial Refund: If you cancel between 14 and 7 days before the event, you will receive a 50% refund.
No Refund: Cancellations made within 7 days of the event are not eligible for a refund.
These policies allow us to plan and ensure a quality experience for all participants while providing flexibility for unforeseen circumstances.
Full Refund: If you cancel 90 days or more before the event, you will receive a full refund.
Partial Refund: If you cancel between 90 and 30 days before the event, you will receive a 50% refund.
No Refund: Cancellations made within 30 days of the event are not eligible for a refund.
We understand that planning for a retreat takes careful consideration, and we aim to offer flexibility while still honoring the commitment made to our venue and teachers.
Full Refund: If you cancel at least 30 days before the event, you will receive a full refund.
Partial Refund: If you cancel between 30 and 14 days before the event, you will receive a 50% refund.

Special events often involve more complex planning, so we strive to accommodate your needs while maintaining fairness for all participants.
Full Refund: Cancellations made at least 30 days before the event are eligible for a full refund.
Partial Refund: Cancellations between 30 and 14 days before the event are eligible for a 50% refund.
No Refund: Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are not eligible for a refund.
We want to provide a clear understanding of our policies to allow for a more relaxed planning process, whether you’re traveling internationally or joining us locally.
We’re pleased to offer some events without any cost, such as donation-based sessions or community offerings. In these cases, there are no charges, and therefore no refunds are necessary. These events are offered as a way to share the practice with the wider community, and we are grateful for your participation.
3 How to Request a Refund
If you are unable to attend an event, whether paid or unpaid, please contact us at info@phuket-meditation.com to update your registration or withdraw your participation. For paid events, if you qualify for a refund, kindly include your booking number when requesting a refund. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method where possible.
4 Refund Processing Time
Refunds for eligible cancellations are processed promptly upon approval. However, processing times may vary depending on your card issuer or bank, typically taking 5-10 business days with Stripe. If your refund is delayed, please check with your bank or credit card company. For free or donation-based events, no payments are processed, but if you need to cancel or update your registration, please contact us via the provided communication channels.
5 Event Cancellations by Organizer
For paid events, in the rare case that we need to cancel, a full refund will be issued to all participants. For free or donation-based events, as no charges apply, no refund is necessary. However, if an event is canceled, participants will be notified in advance, and alternative arrangements may be offered.
6 Ticket Changes & Reallocation
For paid events, if you are unable to attend, you may reallocate your payment towards a future event within 6 months. Reallocation is subject to availability and must be used within the stated period. To do this, please contact us at info@phuket-meditation.com, cancel your current booking, and inform us of your intention to use the funds for another event. Additionally, you may transfer your booking to another person, provided you give at least five days’ notice before the event and introduce the new participant to ensure their suitability.
For free or donation-based events, no monetary changes or reallocations are needed. If you are unable to attend, please inform us as soon as possible, so we can offer your spot to another participant or make alternative arrangements.
7 Force Majeure
In the event of Force Majeure (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics), for both paid and free/donation-based events, we will do our best to reschedule or accommodate affected participants. In exceptional circumstances beyond our control (such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions), we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the event or offer alternative options. Refunds may not always be possible in such cases. Please contact us for further information and updates regarding any cancellations.
8 Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations or circumstances that may prevent you from attending. Travel insurance can protect your financial investment in case refunds cannot be issued. A reputable global insurance provider is World Nomads.
