Refund and Returns Policy
Here you can find our refund and returns policy. We at the Phuket Meditation Center strive to make our offers as honest and transparent as possible. This will help our clients and keep them from experiencing unpleasant surprises and difficulties while they make a reservation for our upcoming events or order items in our online shop. We would like to encourage you to read this policy so you can be more confident about your purchase and know that we care.
We would like to sincerely thank you for considering us and our services. We promise to offer you a great experience and hope that you will enjoy our products. If you have any questions, please simply contact us – we are known to be very responsive.
1 Local Events
Our definition: Local events include all our classes, seminars, workshops or retreats that are strictly bound to a physical location. They won’t be broadcasted online (no live-streaming) and are only accessible offline at chosen locations on Phuket Island or elsewhere in the Kingdom of Thailand.
1.1 Payments
Free Local Events: If the event is free or donation-based, there won’t be any charges beforehand. In some cases we may require you to complete an online or offline registration process, but there won’t be any costs involved. Registrations are solely for the purpose of helping us to prepare and manage the number of attendees when we organize events at various locations.
Paid Local Events: When you register online, we will collect payments through an online gateway during the process of registration. When you register at the location, we will collect the payments at the location. We accept online banking and various local payment gateways in Thailand, PayPal, Wise, credit cards (Visa, Master Card and JBL) and cash transactions.
1.2 Refunds and Changes
Refund Policy: In case of cancellation, you may be eligible for a refund. Please check below and see if you qualify:
Full Refund: If you cancel at least 90 days before the event starts, you qualify for a full refund.
Partial Refund: If you cancel 90 – 30 days before the event starts, we deduct 50% of the registration fee.
No Refund: If you cancel less than 30 days before the event starts, there will be no refund.
Examples: The event is scheduled to take place on the 30th of April 2022 at 12pm Asia/Bangkok time. Let’s say you have booked long in advance and cancel before 30th January 2022 at 12pm Asia/Bangkok time. In this case you qualify for a full refund.
If you cancel after that date, for example on February 2nd 2022, you qualify for a partial refund.
If you cancel anytime after 30th March 2022 at 12pm Asia/Bangkok time, there will be no refund.
How to Request a Refund: In case you won’t be able to attend an event and qualify for a refund, please contact us at info@phuket-meditation.com, tell us your booking number and request a refund.
How a Refund is Given: Every refund will be returned the same way it was received. So if you payed by credit card, your refund will be transferred back onto your credit card. If you payed in cash, your refund will be given back to you in cash.
Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again, then contact your credit card company. Remember that it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@phuket-meditation.com and let us know. We will look into the matter and keep you posted.
Ticket Changes: It is possible to change the participant information up-to 48 hours prior to the event. This allows for a replacement (friends, a family member etc.) to attend the event in your place.
Ticket Reallocation: In case you won’t be able to attend, it is also possible to reallocate the funds and use them for a later event within the timeframe of 6 months. In order to make use of this possibility, we need you to contact us at info@phuket-meditation.com, cancel the current event, and let us know that you would like to use your funds for another event in the future.
2 Online Events
Our definition: Online events include all our classes, seminars, workshops or retreats that are not strictly bound to a physical location.
